GB10 Sports are pleased to announce a partnership with Callisto Homes as sponsors of Welling United Women.

Callisto Homes, a multi-award-winning construction company based in Kent, have been a long-standing supporter of Welling’s women’s team and will see their name take pride of place on the front of the playing shirts for the 2024/25 season.

Speaking after visiting GB10 Sports, Welling United Academy’s brand-new facility based in New Eltham, Mark Alywin, owner of Callisto Homes said: “We were first involved with the Business Club at Welling a few years ago when we found out there was a shortfall in funding for the women’s team. We stepped up as we thought it was a worthwhile cause. We’re a big advocate for women in construction so, for me, it came hand-in-hand. We’re very proud to our name on the front of the shirts.”

Meanwhile, GB10 Sports Chairman, Paul Whitehead, said: “We’re delighted to have Callisto on board. They’ve always been really supportive and we hope it’s a relationship that will continue for many years. We have big plans here at GB10 Sports and it’s just the start, so it’s brilliant that we can take them on that journey.”

Speaking of the GB10 Sports facility and its upcoming plans, Alyson added: “It’s got huge potential, so it’s tremendous for us to be involved. The plans that are going in are superb. It will generate revenue and will be a community infrastructure for years to come. I can only see this place growing, so to get in at the ground floor level is brilliant for us. It will be nice to see in years to come what is produced down here. It has great potential and great people behind it so the only way is up.”
